Raffaella has dropped a cover of Yeah Yeah Yeahs' classic ‘Maps’ in collaboration with Hippo Campus. The track has been recontextualised to explore the nuances of the love between the two artists when they’re away on tour. “Turns out the song’s about my life/every touring musician’s life - it’s a simple plea from one loved one to another, asking them to please stay. I have abandonment issues and had the brilliant idea to fall in love with someone whose job is to leave, but by some sort of miracle that person also happens to also be the most loyal person I’ve ever met.” She has added her own self-reflective, almost nostalgic sound to the track, allowing it to fit into her catalogue of authentic, unique music.
